Over the years Erickson Air-Crane has gotten a steady stream of requests, from individuals like yourself, for photos, line drawings, and dimensional data to assist in construction of their particular modeling project. We think it's a great idea and feel very proud to have our helicopter on any display shelf.
With that in mind we have assembled a collection of material you may freely use to help you build your model replica. However, there are some issues we must list in an attempt to avoid any perceived misunderstandings that may come about as a result of posting these electronic materials:
Erickson Air-Crane takes immense pride in the unparalleled ability to manufacture, operate and sell the S-64 while maintaining the highest standards in reliability, performance, integrity, and quality control. It is this great sense of pride and responsibility that demands our organization take great care in how we are represented and how our image is reproduced in all media.
In order to mitigate the challenges (read "pains") of coordinating a paid royalty and quality control system, Erickson Air-Crane feels an equitable arrangement would benefit all parties which is thus: We will suspend paid royalty requirements in return for your honorable attention towards accuracy in paint scheme and design of your replicas of the Erickson S-64 Aircrane Helicopter. This would include proper dimensions, paint, and decals accurate in color and placement to the design of our S-64.
